K. M. Atiqul Islam Anik, an Associate Chartered Accountant accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He completed his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting Information Systems from United International University, demonstrating strong academic credentials with notable results.

Currently, he is the Manager in Financial Reporting at Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC (CBC), where his responsibilities include preparing financial statements according to IFRS/IAS guidelines, managing Bangladesh Bank reporting, and liaising with auditors.

Previously, he served as a Manager in Audit, Assurance, and Advisory Service at S. F. Ahmed & Co. His role encompassed a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including audit and advisory services, VAT and tax compliance, and legal advisory services. His expertise is particularly strong in areas such as internal control evaluations and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).

His professional journey also includes a three-year articleship at Grant Thornton Bangladesh (Howladar Yunus & Co.), where he coordinated and supervised financial and statutory audits in line with international standards.

His professional qualifications are supported by robust analytical skills and a deep understanding of the income tax and VAT systems of Bangladesh. His command of ERP systems, auditing software tools like Voyager and IDEA enhances his ability to manage complex financial tasks efficiently.
